The coaches are the most knowledgeable, the school is clean and you can train anywhere in the world there is a GB including the St Henri Location. I could not imagine a better school for kids and adults.

Q: Do I need previous martial arts experience to join Gracie Barra?
A: No experience is necessary! The GB1 Program is designed for beginners and those new to Jiu-Jitsu.
Q: Will I have to spar in my first class?
A: No. GB1 focuses on drills, technique, and controlled training before introducing sparring. Once you progress to the GB2 program, usually after 4 months of training, you will be ready for live sparring.
Q: How many classes can I attend per week?
A: Our memberships are unlimited! You can attend all the classes you are eligible for, and train jiu jitsu as much as you want! You can even occasionally visit other Gracie Barra schools any where in the world for free!
Q: Are the BJJ classes at Gracie Barra suitable to all fitness levels?
A: Yes! Classes are structured to meet you where you’re at. You’ll build fitness over time – there’s no need to be in shape before starting.
Q: Will I Learn self defense techniques in regular classes?
A: Absolutely. Our GB1 Program includes one different self defense techniques in every class. That should cover all the most likely scenarios you might ever have to deal with in real life.
